Congratulations to Our 2021 MPYC Travel Grant Recipients!

Please join us in congratulating the recipients of our inaugural Max Planck-Yale Center for Biodiversity Movement and Global Change Travel Grant. The grant will fund travel between the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior in Radolfzell, Germany (pictured above) and the Max Planck-Yale Center for Biodiversity Movement and Global Change in New Haven, Connecticut (pictured below), providing a valuable opportunity for international collaboration. Our 2021 MPYC Travel Grant recipients are:
 
Martha Munoz, for her proposal “Deriving behavioral rules of physiological evolution across scales of organization”
 
Scott Yanco and Nils Linek, for their proposal “Linking migration to pace of life via organismal metabolism and physiology”
 
Diego Ellis Soto, for his proposal “Contrasting effects of sudden environmental and anthropogenic change on wildlife through integration of remote sensing and animal tracking”
