Monitoring planetary biodiversity: Q&A session

The mission of GEO BON (http://geobon.org) is to improve the acquisition, coordination and delivery of biodiversity observations and related services to decision makers and the scientific community. It’s vision is a global biodiversity observation network that contributes to effective management policies for the world’s biodiversity and ecosystem services.

In this interactive session Henrique Pereira, Co-Chair of GEO BON, will first give a short presentation to introduce GEO BON and its activities. Together with Walter Jetz he will discuss its goals, answer audience questions and provide information on how to contribute to this global effort.
