I am a macroecologist interested in understanding how species are responding to environmental change. By determining what spatial variables control current range distributions, I hope to increase predictive power of where species will shift under novel climate regimes. Before beginning my Ph.D. at Yale, I graduated from McGill University with an Honours degree in biology, in which I researched a system of threespine stickleback in Quebec with Dr. Andrew Hendry. I strongly believe that science does not exist in a vacuum, and I am interested in understanding how research can help policy makers and community leaders navigate through an increasingly turbulent world.

Outside of the office, I spend my time running, climbing, reading, and knitting (in no particular order).
